holds a BFA in Interdisciplinary from the San Francisco Art Institute and was

the recipient of the SFAI merit scholarship. Her work is regularly exhibited in

BFA Catalog and honorable mention in Best of the Bay Guardian. Her work was

featured in the on-line Artist Registry, Bay Area Visual Arts Network and is

published in Studio Visit Magazine publication.

Laws’ focus is on form as well as the humor and often irony of human consumption —  what we wear, acquire and discard — as well as our man-made environments and

their broad-spectrum of interiors and exteriors.  Texture and fabric have been ongoing themes in her work where she allows the medium to drive and shape to piece.   Her aim

is to conjure a reanimation of the ordinary and commonplace, questioning what is

accepted as art, against the energetic spirit of "Ready Made” in fashion and object.

She is looking forward to be a participant in stARTup Fair SF.
